It is always good to look with the eyes of a customer

The presence of so many popups and things that interfere with my experience makes me click off of that site, quickly.

I think a lot of people - some of them are those who would otherwise benefit from the products being promoted - do the same thing! It gets to be frustrating and influences the bounce rate!

But to answer your question directly: YES

I'm trying to look at my site from a visitors point of view. It made me change quite a few things already. Even the theme.

Give viewers a great experience and a win. Then it becomes a win for us.
