Dipping my toe back in the water!

After a nearly two month hiatus from writing and publishing anything, I am ready to dip my toe back in the water. Mostly I am sharing this out of some desire for accountability. You know: I said it so now it is out there and I have to follow through-type of thing. I've had a difficult time getting back to things after some distraction in late August.
The thing is, I remember why I got into this in the first place and now the disciplined thing to do is to create some sort of action so the desire will follow. I've never been very good at the disciplined thing, I always fancied myself a free spirit of sorts but the truth is, I want this. I want to make this work and I want to be doing this. Sometimes, when we get distracted we have to be disciplined about getting back to things and trust that the desire that brought us here in the beginning will follow.
So here is to those of you who are struggling to get back on track: you're not alone. I'm totally here with you and I believe we can do this. Let's get back to work!
