Google Search Console - Site Not Verified

One of my websites lost its verification in Google Search Console. Therefore, I could not see my website's traffic stats.
I have never had that happen before. I tried to follow the instructions within GSC to get it re-verified. That was like me trying to understand the Greek language.
So, guess what? I went to ChatGPT and asked: I use Google Search Console and Google Analytics. In Google Search Console, one of my websites (I gave my website URL) is not verified. It has been for several years, and just recently it is not. How can I easily get (I gave my website URL) verified in Google Search Console?

- 🔁 Your theme or site rebuild removed the verification code
- 🧩 A plugin change or cleanup deleted the HTML tag
- 🔐 You changed domains, HTTPS settings, or DNS
- 👤 The original Google account that verified it was removed
- 🧹 Cache/CDN optimization stripped the meta tag
ChatGPT gave me several ways to fix the problem, as Google Search Console suggested, but in plain English. I chose this method:

Verify Your Website via Your SEO Plugin
If you use RankMath / Yoast / AIOSEO:
- Go to your SEO plugin → Analytics / Webmaster / Scripts
- Paste your GA4 Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX)
- Save
- Clear cache
- Refresh homepage
- Verify again in Search Console
Since I use All in One SEO, I went to my plugins page within my website's WordPress Dashboard and opened All in One SEO. It recognized that my website was not verified. By a few simple clicks, I was able to get back into Google Search Console, and my website is now verified again.
The moral of the story is, don't waste time trying to understand GSC's useless directions and go directly to ChatGPT, or whatever AI assistant you use. I wasted a few hours trying to fix my problem before I remembered that my old friend CharGPT might be able to help me with a much simpler method!
