Getting There with My First Post

Thanks to everyone so far for helping me out with suggestions, words of support etc. It is very valuable and much appreciated.

However, today when on my third heading on my very first post, I decided to run it past my partner who also goes to the dancing and is very much into the swing era and jazz music. I tried to read out what I had written and he immediately jumped off his chair and sprouted forth about the era. He is a retired professor and is used to giving lectures. So, when I asked him to repeat what he said (a 5 minute speech) in order that I could write down what he was saying, he immediately told me that he had forgotten. I was so disappointed. Anyway, when he reeled of yet another speech, I was able to write down some bullet points. In the end, I landed up writing in my own style and I was able to write the number of words I had given myself for this paragraph in about 10 minutes!! It had actually taken me a lot longer just to do my first draft.

I then proceeded to tell him that people would actually pay to get content written for them.

I reckon he could be quite good at this, if he was interested but he isn't interested in doing this.

Anyway, I had a thought. My youngest son's girlfriend is a fashion designer so when I get my website finished or to the stage when I am happy with it, I will let her see it. See what she thinks before I tell my dancing friends on Facebook.

Before I finish for the day, can I just ask about the plagiarism tool? Does this check the content before it is posted to your website and what happens if there is duplicate content from another source? Does it ask you to change it? Just wondering.
