Encouragement
So my post of yesterday received some very well stated reminders from people who took the time to respond to my "frustration". First, it's really nice to know that one's words do not echo back, empty of connection. Secondly, Through those comments, a couple of things came to mind:
-Strangely, when things seem like they will never turn around, I think of the end of the cold war.... for my entire life up until then, there had been a USSR, a Yugoslavia, a Czechoslovakia, and a wall dividing east and west Germany. Then one day, the world changed. The wall came down, and former, independent countries re-emerged. Seemingly in an instant, but it took years and years for that change to take place.
In one of my all-time favorite movies, "The Shawshank Redemption", Andy Dufresne chipped away at his prison cell for nearly 20 years, never knowing when he would see the light of day. But see it, he did, and his reward was his freedom. What an awesome metaphor for life and the freedom we all desire.

It is my favourite movie too. When is difficult times, I remember this guy and move on. I guess it is best acting for Tim Robins in his career.

Day always come, don't matter how dark life may seem, day always come. Thank you for sharing Lori.
