Your eyes can easily forget, your hands don't! Just one way to make it easier to learn at WA.
This is only a tip that I once got from my lecturer at college. I think this could be useful for us here at WA.
There are so many knowledge, know-how, tips, tricks, and other useful stuff here at WA. A way to cover all those in a quicker way may be necessary, and more importantly, it can make it easier to trace back the subjects we need to read or learn again.
One of my lecturer once said to his students."Your eyes can forget. Your hands don't!". What he meant was that the students were advised to rewrite what they heard and learned in class in a notebook at home. The rewriting process gives strong improvement in comprehension of the subjects.
I did so with the courses here at WA. I rewrote (more exactly: retyped) the courses in a summary as a table for every course. The created tables contained only significant points, tasks, list of videos, which in short, anything I need for a quick glance at the courses.
This really helps me on (1) comprehension of the subjects and (2) tracing back on where I've been (or where a site has been) in the course series. Converting the files to PDF makes it even easier to leave a note or mark on them.
This is a picture of the example summary:
Will I share the summary with anyone? I am very sorry, no. For the following reasons:
a. WA copyright grounds.
b. It's must be the person's own hands that rewrite the stuff to push the subjects into his mind.
c. Points that are considered significant may greatly be different among WA members.
I hope this small tip is useful for us all.
Best regards,
Hendra Lukman.

I agree, this is very useful info - I used this a lot at University as well, and in my career too.

All great points and great advice. It helps later when you're trying to remember where you learned something to be able to trace your way back.
Thank you, Numerous. I learn a lot from other members here, too.
