When we left I was confident that even with me driving while towing boat, daylight and GPS even in to rain no problem .

After four hours wow still raining at least in right area now, GPS voice directions start repeating over and then again please make legal U turn . So following to direction we make good U turn, mind you with boat hooked to truck on old back roads well I will tell ya !
GPS : directions make u turn # 1 done with ease on our way again ; twenty minutes later

GPS : directions make u turn # 4 done with ease on our way again still make dinner

GPS : directions make u turn # 5 done still raining just pouring OK on our way again ; minutes later

GPS : directions make u turn # 6 done getting stuck on rock and new muck.Driver loses temper but, on our way again. Now scared, lost , no phone no radio GPS acting squirrel can not see raining so hard. Stating No it's dark if we got a turn on again, I'm not doing it I don't wanna drive in to dark I can't see
GPS : directions make u turn # 7 done in dark on our way again I pull over safely to to side of to road put on to four ways at to first cottage that we see with any sign of light leaving my husband and to truck on to side of to road I start to make a slight jog in to rain towards to light. Lucky for me there's a big dip just before to steps going up so there I stand in a puddle knocking on to door I can hear people inside knocking on to door and finally someone comes with a flashlight oh my come in are you OK they're all clamoring pulling me inside which was quite scary by to way apologizing over and over for to intrusion and explaining that we are lost we can't seem to get to GPS to work and all of them staring at me uncomfortable pause there're tornadoes touching down all around us there's someone with you? Oh yeah my husband is out in to truck could you dial this number for me my son-in-law will surely come and get off no phone service by to time I make my way back out to to truck Dave is in to driver seat and ready to take over driving. The weather gives us a slight grace to house phone turns in to work and we call my son-in-law who picks up quickly as they've been waiting for us since 3:34 in to afternoon directions are exchanged we're not that far away to father of to household offers to let us follow him down to common area where son-in-law could further guide us in.
No re-energized and eager to get there, off I go with directions to go to end of road turn around just one more time that's all. Then stop back in front of cottage where we can follow him. I jumped in to passenger seat explained our instruction from cottage fella who would guide us in to meet family. With that truck pulls away safely and down to to turnabout husband driving all good it's dark it's raining his wife has been bitching Adam at him is driving quicker than he should be his wife is bitching at him oh there's to turnabout but taking it too fast truck makes it around tree but trailer tongue bounces truck jolted to a stop Truck trailer with Boat jackknife round-tree, Absolutely in to dark in to middle of nowhere a lot of boats motor blocking narrow two-way street sliding through Algonquins Forest. A woman drove down driveway toward us from probably cottage she stopped and asked if everyone was OK then she drove back up and return with I am Man I presume her husband after being out in to rain and unhooking and hooking trailer from truck finally we got it Spahn around enough to securely hook to truck lights running oh did I mention that took hours and to man that was going to guide us in head showing up out of fears weird got lost or hurt telling us to tornadoes are only going to get worse to one lady helping us lift this boat repeatedly trying to get it positioned correctly so we could reattach it to ball safely. Let's just say we were all over 50 and up Temperature steamy hot out, cold rain and I mean pouring rain you can't see you can't hear each other talk when you're out there well we got it all straightened out and if I ever. Find to directions that of course got so wet I would love just to tell those people out Halliburton Way to two old kids from Niagara Falls Canada can't thank them enough that your Canadian community kicking in they didn't know us they're offering us a place to stay you know you got a love Canada Just to let you know we didn't get into the cottage till after 12 midnight

Cheers to REDKENN RD people who risked to tornadoes ???? ???????????? rain , dark , lightning's and getting the virus no questions asked on an August night in 2020

Wow! What an incredible experience. Quite the adventure to be sure. Glad to hear that all turned out alright in the end, and that you are safe. Isn't it grand that total strangers will turn out in time of need.
