Goodmorning WA Familiy A short report of a strange week

This week everything went a little differently than planned, until Wednesday everything went according to plan, no strange things but then suddenly the day became completely different, Wednesday I got out of bed around a quarter past eight and dressed myself and my partner at ease (for the people who not knowing this my partner had a stroke 12 years ago and has since been wheelchair bound with half side paralysis) so i made sure we were both ready for the day had coffee and then i got in the car to drive to utrecht where my daughter lives ( who doesn't have a washing machine because she lives in a student house and normally comes home every week to do her laundry) only this week started her practical internship at school which means working 5 days traveling back and forth to Amsterdam so out the door at 11 o'clock in the morning and come home at 11 o'clock in the evening and since she needs her work clothes and she has 3 sets then you can't make it with 5 shifts so i went to dress her so far so good still s nothing to worry about .
i am driving back home and near my house thank god i was off the highway and just drove into our residential area when my car engine suddenly stopped ....... uuhhhhh what is this???
So I want to start again but unfortunately he didn't feel like it so there I was in the middle of the road although in the residential area but on the access route so I got out of my car and pushed the car until it was safe.
Locked the car and walked the last bit home. When we arrived there first did the laundry but in the washing machine knowing that my car would not run away. then called the roadside assistance to report that I had car trouble and they would come and look okay I was dry and warm so that was fine.
The roadside assistance came and wanted to start the engine but unfortunately it would not do it so after a short investigation the timing belt was broken so I was disappointed because it would be replaced in January because it had to be replaced after 5 years or 120,000 km and the 5 years August 2022 was over and I wanted to prevent this, unfortunately that belt thought otherwise.
Conclusion: I thought it was too expensive to have it repaired since I was already looking for another car and I didn't want to put any extra costs in this one.
So suddenly I didn't have a car anymore and in my position with someone in a wheelchair a car is necessary. So I had the car towed to my garage and he had a car that I liked so don't think too long about it but buy it.

Then we would put up the Christmas tree this weekend so my daughter would make sure she would be home around 1 pm on Sunday but unfortunately it also went differently than planned she wasn't there at 1 pm so I made a joke via whatsapp it's 1 pm where are you???

At the same time she sent me a little clip saying I'm late.....
I didn't immediately notice what I was looking at but that soon became clear, they were standing still because the bus from the opposite direction had had an accident the driver had become unwell and he had hit a slope, and with that she looked outside what exactly was going on she saw that the driver was removed from the bus and had to be resuscitated.
Now it is true that my daughter is not very good at handling things like that she is certainly not suitable for a job as a nurse so she was slightly upset and my car won't be delivered until Wednesday so I couldn't go her way either to pick her up.
So I chatted her off the bus and chatted towards the train station to make sure she got home from there and let her get into a taxi that could take her home .
So 2 hours later she was at home upset, stone cold and slightly trembling. And then mother nature comes up automatically, so I took care of her, made sure she was warm, made food for her and hot tea so that they could warm up and above all lots of love and warmth.

Finally put down the Christmas tree and let her play around with the Christmas village so that she was busy and distracted.
My son who lives in England sent a message about the accident and said he didn't send very well so when I said his sister had seen that happen he immediately called to check if she was okay.
So you can see everything can be different in a split second, I learned that lesson 12 years ago, so I always take everything into account afterwards.
Hopefully this week will go normally, but that's always a wait and see something always happens here, but luckily not always as strange as last week.
