Hi everyone, so I just became a affiliate of Ebay and they have some really nice banners and widgets. I would like to add a banner to my sidebar or the side of my site and some pages. I was wondering if anyone could help me? I know how to add to my posts and pages with in the content just not sure how to apply it to the side of website and pages.

Thanks for the help

Shannon

Just checking in to make sure you got all the help you needed. Feel free to PM me or jot a question right here if needed!

Awesome thanks for the advice great job and yes I contacted him did not get a reply yet. I will try what you said thanks

I added a long banner to the side of my content yesterday. I downloaded the banner picture and added it to the left of the content. I then linked the URL to the picture. Kyle explains how to do this in Course 3, lesson 4 (it may be lesson 3). Look at option #2 and he explains it there. I hope that this helps.

Thanks GrayM but when you did that it just included the banner in the post or page correct? I want to add a banner to my website main page like on the side.

Hmmm...now that I don't know. But I do know someone that you can ask. His name is Boomergp08. He has a lot of info on this type of stuff, and has helped me resolve an issue.

Ok thanks for the good information.

Hi, Hackenberg. I don't know if you got in touch with Boomer yet, but I was able to figure it out. I added a banner to my front page by going in to Widgets, and and adding a 'text' panel to my sidebar. You will have to drag it over to your sidebar. I then entered the link from amazon into the 'text' panel. It worked!! I can't believe I figured that out. I hope that this helps.
