Facebook part II and the next step; blog linking

Well, as I sit here, a week later into my facebook ads test, I am still uncertain if the whole thing has helped drive any traffic to my site. I got the likes, 890 in a week...pretty good, I guess, as I just didn't have a reference point to begin with. So far It hasn't really seemed to drive too much traffic to the sight but then again it's only been a week. I'll keep posting on fbook and adding links to the site in hopes that people actually do more than just hit a like button because they like the name of the sight and the pic on the advert.
I also set up my twitter account but still haven't really used it, as I've never used twitter before and don't know how to use it very well...
That all being said, my next step is to start posting on like-minded sites by offering solid responses and comments to their blogs in the hope that people will like the responses and click on my links or, that the like-minded blooger and I create a relationship which benefits me as well in the long run (add sinister laugh track here).
I'll keep you posted on the progress, let me know if any of you have any ideas about any of these topics...thanks
