It. happened! First two amazon purchases!

I have been quiet the last month or so, not interacting with the community as much and focusing more on developing my site quietly with pinterest and my job. I've only made 2 posts in my site in the past month or so, but that's the pace that's working with me for now.
But now... out of the blue, I checked amazon associates and BAM out of nowhere, I have gotten two purchases! It's not much, but it's definitely a start. This is the first time I've seen some sort of progress like this, despite my analytics numbers fluctuating up and down. I have gotten more organic searches as well, which is definitely a plus.
What does "Fees" mean though? Is that actually my own money or something else? Anyways, it's something and I'm glad to see something happen with amazon.
