So how am I going?

Just finishing Course 2 and here is my progress to date...

1. Your progress thus far

Well it says that I become a member on the 10th December which is true. But for the first week I was casing this joint out trolling you guys and checking through the lessons. It must have been about the 17th (in order to take up the $19 offer - oh dear I am such a cheapskate when it comes to IM as I have been burnt too many times to count) that I became a premium member.

So give or take, it has been one month. Worst time to start really, busy at work with Xmas rush and then summer vacation with no internet connection. This past month has not been conducive to getting the flying start one might hope for.

Have got side tracked on networking and WA emails but that has been worthwhile in getting to know WA better.

My site is up. Placed a couple of posts and have about 15 in the pipeline on some "low hanging fruit" keywords.

Finally sorted out my google+ page. What a frickin' nightmare. Social media is not really my thing. I'm the guy who on facebook replied to a guy who posted me in March to say he was going to be coming back to NZ in May and did I want to catch up. I responded in July saying "Jeez what a bugger just got that message now - sorry I missed you."

He replied " No problem Greg that was last year."

Doh! - you get the picture.

2. Any successes (not just financial, but things you are proud of)

As mentioned above I'm not a "social media guy." So I rate my successes as:

- Successfully Launching a word press site - tried that before and failed.

- Sorting out once and for all my google+ profile (join me) - tried that as well and ended up with 3 profiles - don't laugh it's bloody frustrating, gave up in the end.

- Actually blogging and leaving comments. I'm also that guy that listens to "Dork Back Radio" but has never phoned in. Likewise I have been on the internet since 1996ish and never left a post or a reply except on Facebook and Linkedin (join me there too) where I could probably count the times on both hands and feet. Hope I haven't offended anyone?

- Financially no change yet, still making the same. But then it's early days.

- Oh and I'm almost ranking triple digit. I was 1010 at time of post. That's funny that's my post code too: Auckland 1010. I have a thing for numbers - ask me about 1961?

3. Your plans and goals in the upcoming 3 months

To have my "Keepsake Baby Name Gifts" site completed ie: finished the "Green Courses" and making regular posts and affiliate reviews around more "low hanging fruit keywords" - to drive traffic.

I want to have made at least one affiliate sale.

I want to see an increase in traffic to my Sweet P's product website: currently only getting on average 250 per month.

• I'd be happy with 50% more = 375
• I'd be ecstatic with 100% more = 500
• I'd be delirious with 300% more = 1000

Final goal for 3 months timeframe is to have made a start on the Affiliate Bootcamp Black Courses and got to Rank of between 500 - 600.

4. Your plans and goals in the upcoming 6 months

For my "Keepsake Baby Name Gifts" website to be:

making regular affiliate sales. I wanted to make at least one by 3 months and so I would like to make a goal of at least 10 by end on month 6 - being end of May.

For my "sweetpgifts.com" website to be:

receiving a consistent 1000 visitors (predominantly from my WA site) per month equating to a consistent 20 sales per month = $1500 per month (double my current average monthly revenue)

And...

To have completed the Affiliate Bootcamp and have my second website up. No measurable goals as such other than having it full operational with regular posts.

Also to reach Rank of say, I dunno what do you reckon I should aim for?
