For those who have followed my story so far... I am back! For those wonderful people that I am yet to meet, here is a summary of my WA story to date:

At the beginning of 2018 I decided that I wanted to pursue a secondary income and build a digital lifestyle for my family to replace my extremely demanding corporate day job. I found myself in a senior corporate executives position for a global organization with all the fancy perks that come with a job like this. The downside as I was soon to discover was the excessive travel meant being away from my wife and three young children.

I did like most enthusiastic people would and jumped straight on the internet and quickly discovered many people and organizations make fantastic claims about 6 figure passive incomes and they all made it sound so terribly easy and fast to achieve. I jumped in straight away and invested a small amount initially and got sucked in by three different :"passive income" ventures and very nearly lost a large sum of money in the process.

After a painful process of trying to get my money back, I quickly realized that these not so ethical people were getting customers by presenting you with a small upfront investment and constantly up sell you with false promises and fancy cars and holidays that they display on the likes of YouTube. All of these claims I have personally come across are fake and they are only interested in what they can sell to you. In these types of businesses it's on the very early investors and people with money to burn that thrive off taking money from us ordinary folk and will stop at nothing to extract more funds from you at any given opportunity.

After the disappointment wore off, I continued to search for a more reputable way of realizing my dreams. That's the funny thing about setting a goal, no matter how much disappointment you experience your goal doesn't wither away, it grows and becomes stronger! During a broke through a Facebook group I stumbled across my now mentor who did not sell me WA, he simply provided me with the tools I needed to reach my goals. No pushy sales tactics, just sound advice coupled with realistic goal posts to aim for so I joined and put my best foot forward.

At the time I knew I was in the right place, however, my mindset was still not where it needed to be, so when speedy results did not happen I fell slave to my day job again and the every day WA posts and comment withered away to the point that I stepped away from WA for two months and armed myself in my busy corporate career, constant flying, hotels and constant time away from home led me to a dark place internally.

I took time out at the begging of this month and started reading back through my goals and aspirations again and reflected on where I had failed myself instead of trying to find a reason to blame WA, which is the knee-jerk reaction that most of us would do. I stopped and took a deep breath and pictured my goals all over again. I soon came to realize that my day job was the problem, it was strangling my time and energies.

I visualized my goals of a digital lifestyle and began reverse engineering my goals to see what I had to do to ensure my monetary goals were met and part of that meant that I needed to balance all ares of my life. Mostly I realized where the problems lay, time and motivating factors with a healthy dose of patience. This is NOT a sprint it's a marathon.

I sought out a more humble and time predictable job and I am happy to announce that I handed in my resignation to my bosses lat week Monday and have hit the reset button in all areas with no exception. I know work a regular 9-5 job with loads of free time for my online business and it now allows me to pursue my dream freely.

The most important realization is that to succeed you must be willing to do whatever it takes to get to your goals. Over the coming weeks I will be giving back to this community without expectation, meaning, I don't want anyone to buy anything from me, I am going to set out my advice based on experiences and knowledge with some helpful and insightful posts to help you succeed. I stress again, I don't want you're money, this will be my gift to those who need it so that you can become Awesome, no strings attached.
