Facebook Advertising is so much more than thinking of a quick catch phrase and posting a picture with a hyperlink. I know this because I've just had my account recently deleted by Facebook. Now I've started down the path of finding out why and what I can do to avoid that same outcome.

I highly recommend reading Facebook advertising policy. If you are planning on using Facebook for advertising purposes. Here's is a few important lines I've found not to cross

Personal Attributes

  • Obviously it's best to stay away from Nudity, Drugs, and Gambling
  • Don't imply a race, gender identity, or age in your ad
  • Refrain from using the word YOU in any ad

Facebook Brand

  • They like to capitalize the "Facebook" brand
  • No FB abriviations
  • Jus try not to use their brand

And trust me the're MANY more

Don't just create an account and get started friending anyone you can and making posts that without prior knowledge. Learn everything you can about Facebook policy before you waste lots of time and effort due to a simply wrong written advertisement.

I have an account with Facebook but I really don't use it because of what is going with Facebook. So I don't know if that account is still open. I just have a personal account but I really don't go on Facebook too much.

A Facebook fan page set up for the business with links to our websites is a safe way to go. Facebook has not had any problem with me doing that.
