Lots of info here. Living in the US, I'm of course very familiar with Mother's Day traditions here - I even used to work on the Hallmark Cards account! But it was fun learning about how things are done in other parts of the world. Seems no matter where you go, Mothers are honored, just as they should be.
You are correct ma. When I was a boy and inexperience I never knew that it was the mothers that makes the world go round. I thought mothering Sunday was an AFRICAN things, till I studied to find out it was even the early portuguese missionaries that introduced it to the church of Nigeria and "boom" it goes vitally all over were they colonised. I wish to know how different people and places across the world celebrate mothers. Thanks ma and happy MOTHERING SUNDAY.
