I need to whatsApp a WA banner to a friend.

Question : How do I attached my affiliate link to the banner before I whatsApp it.

Thanks

Graham

Hey Graham

Seeing as Phil has already shown you how to use your affiliate link on a WA banner... check out the screen print below to see how you can discover how to send it in WhatsApp.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks Trib.
Really appreciate.

Take care

I hope this has been figured out?

You can go to banners

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/banners

Copy a whole link and paste

Click on the $ sign, then Banners. Any link you use from there will have your affiliate link built in.

Thanks Phil

Hi Phil

How do I attached my affiliate link to the actual banner, so the prospect just needs to click on the banner

The code that comes with the banner (in fact, IS the banner), when included in a web page, post or email message, displays the banner image. If someone clicks on that image, it takes them to Wealthy Affiliate with your id embedded.

Thanks Phil.

Ok. So it can't be sent via whatsApp message.

I don't see why not. Have you tried it?

Hi Kyle

Trust you are keeping well.

I mentioned a while ago that my domain name is (amathononline.com)

Graham, you have not added any products yet, but when you do start adding them I would recommend you choose a niche that is related to the products you are selling while being sure to have it be a niche you enjoy.

If you do not enjoy what you are writing about, it will make it a wee bit more difficult to keep the flow going as you type.

I think I see what your plan may be, instead of marketing just affiliate programs, you plan ti implement what's taught here to also promote physical products you sell. This is a good strategy, and one that can work well. I too have my own site where I offer physical products via drop shipping, and I use my blogs to link to products on it. It can be a tidy income, especially if you niche blogs are separate from your shopping website.

Hi Maria

Thanks so much for your advice, I really do appreciate any comment, as I am so confused, it's holding me back and as you know frustrating me to no end.

I actually live in South Africa, and with a broad interest, I feel a number of solutions can be presented. We also have also reached record unemployment, crime, serious electricity blackout issues, and the list goes on)

Please feel free to advise, but the products I want to sell will be through Affiliate marketing, for example, I will register as an affiliate with Amazon.com and promote their products, and earn affiliate commissions. (I will also register with other affiliate marketing companies as well, so as not to put all my eggs in one basket)

The reason for me wanting to go this route is:

1) My Domain name (AMATHONONLINE.COM). I have been told and advised to really market the name / brands.
2) With Amazon.com making a huge investment in South Africa already, and opening up in 2023, I feel this is another plus, if I can just get established ASAP.

As I said, your input and advise is really welcome, so please let me know what you think.

Thanks again and take care.

Graham, I see now what you are trying to do. Since you have chosen Shopify, you should also look at the dropship options they offer. Although not name brands, you can easily ship great products to several countries with a much higher profit margin that what you'll get as an Amazon Affiliate.

Have you completed your training here yet? The reason i ask is because although Shopify is a great ecommerce platform, you will also need a blog to do the majority of the marketing you'll need to do.

But as far as niches, Beauty is a good one with higher Amazon percentages, electronics would be another great one due to the high cost of products such as laptops and gaming systems.

Graham, I assumed you were going with physical products because you are using shopify. Shopify can be used for affiliate marketing also, but honestly, I would not be able to help much for that platform as I do not use it.

I did try the trial version of Shopify once, hated it, have stayed with WordPress ever since. I like having full and complete control over everything to do with my website, and Shopify has way too many limitations for my needs.

Also, a very key point, is rankings. It's proven that a well managed WordPress blog will rank very well in google. It's also well known that many larger corporate sites want those rankings, and diverts them from customers sites, to their services.

I do not know if Shopify does this or not, maybe someone who uses that platform could answer about that.

I much rather use Wordpress for it's known stability and ease of use, as well as ability to host it anywhere I choose, however I want. It's open source, so support is almost instant on the main Wordpress website.

I wish I could be of more help, but Shopify is something I am totally clueless about. Especially when it comes to using that platform for affiliate marketing.

Your domain name is awesome, and you are correct, branding is very important.

Hi Maria

I'm staying with WordPress. I tried Shopify 2 years ago when I thought the way to go was drop shipping.

I have transferred my domain (amathnonline.com) to WA and will be doing affiliate marketing.

Thanks a million for all your advice, take care and chat soon.

Take care, and good luck with everything you do!!

WAs approach to a niche for affiliate marketers is that a niche is something you want to help people with in your website. It is writing posts for people to read on your website - who would be the audience you wish to write for and help? You will be writing both informational posts and product reviews. What kind of questions would people be asking about your niche that you can help them with as well? Your informational posts are important to grow your traffic. Resource for questions: http://answersocrates.com.

What is the one thing that you wish to help a targeted group of people with. A niche website should have only one focused topic (niche.) .

Writing articles about a niche is a great way to go because it helps people, grows traffic and makes money. Satisfaction comes in knowing people are actually begin helped with their questions and solutions to problems are discovered.

Just listing products in a store is ecommerce and the challenge is how will you get traffic?

Hi jd

Thanks a million for your reply.

I see what you are trying to say, and your point is very valid.

Thanks very much for the article reference as well.

What you are saying makes sense, as I think I may be confused between starting an Affiliate Marketing Business and an eCommerce Business.

Something to really ponder about this weekend.

Take care and enjoy the weekend.

You are welcome. Glad we could provide some insight.
We will enjoy our weekend. May your enjoy yours too.

If this is meant to Kyle it has landed in the community.

You need click bottom two to the left to get through PM to Kyle.

However you have many things going here, you need aim for ONE focused niche with a specific group of people, I'd go with what's best resonates with me.

The more focused a niche website is starting out, the better chance it has to start having traction and traffic. A niche is also needing qualifying audience, like who would benefit most from what you have to offer.

Please be aware you also need to create lots of content addressing issues related to your focused niche website.

Most important is to be passionate and genuinely interested in your niche

Hi Abie

Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it.

I am not sure that as newbie, I sent the message out correctly, but am blessed that this is in the community, to help me find my way.

As I mention to jg, I think I may be getting confused between starting an Affiliate Marketing Business and an eCommerce Business.

Thanks for the article as well and take care.

Hi Abie

Thanks for the advice and articles.
I actually had a look at dropshipping 2 years ago, and to be very honest, I personally did not think it was a viable business venture for anybody living in South Africa.

It was just to expensive to get the products delivered to the South Africa market.

I definitely want to make a success of my affiliate marketing ventures, but as I said in the beginning, I am just lost at the moment regarding the choosing of my niche, but with all the great help in this community, learning and practice, I believe one will succeed.

Take care

You may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $15, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.

Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.

Hi Abie

Thanks, but as I am technically challenged, I have no idea what to do. I received a message this morning, that godaddy will transfer my domain in 5 days, but don't have a clue whether everything is correct on the WA side, for WA to accept the transfer.

I have made payment for the domain on WA, have not received any further response. I tried SUPPORT, but my message was declined / not sent. I also should have received an email from WA, which I have not received yet.

I did send a direct message message to Kyle, so I hope he sees it in time, before it's rejected by WA for some reason.

If you can offer other advice, I would appreciate it.

Chat later.

Here's a video it help you transfer your domain name to WA site domain. Jaaxy is included with Paid premium membership. it is not a special membership sign up once you are a Paid WA premium member.
