Only my gravatar appears on my sites and smaller. Why?

So after asking this in classroom I thought I might get a bigger audience (and answer) by blogging. I apologise in advance as is this is not really what this is for.

The problem is almost every gravatar has dissappeared from my sites except for my own. Everyone else appears as the "standard" gravatar. See e.g.

http://liveyourlifegreen.net/

Even "Vic" on that page had an image last night but no more now.

I had used EWWW image optimizer in bulk mode previously, but every other image on my site(s) is fine.

I then tried to use FV gravatar cache and I think that's where the trouble started.

Even my own gravatar seems smaller than before.

What to do now for me? Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Glyn

Hadn't had a chance to view you site until now. It looks like it presents stuff right up my alley. I will return to read it in full sometime soon. What is typically me is I noticed a spelling mistake at the beginning. You have praticle not practicle. Sorry for being nitpicky but this way you can fix it!

I don't know what the problem was before but I've just posted a comment (not a well-thought-out one, but a comment nonetheless) and my avatar is there with the comment awaiting moderation. ~Marion

And whenever I click the gravatar support link I just get the message that it's not available at the moment!

Yes, I just tried gravatar support and got 'Hi there! Gravatar support is closed at the moment.' Did you try the FAQs and/or the support forums?

No didn't try forums - that's a good idea.
