Hi Lisa and welcome to WA. It's never about the numbers but the effort you will commit to. There is a saying "you get what you give" ! Your hours say your giving for now what time you can :) The first step is always the most important action you could take.

If you dedicate enough time to your online business, anything level of success possible. Everything you need is here at WA, from the training to the tools, the websites, the hosting and the personal help.

Creating goals is an important first step. After that, I suggest taking advantage of the well-designed and systematic training provided here at WA. When you have questions, don't be afraid to ask the talented and helpful mentors here for us.

Great to see you stopped by the "goals thread" Lisa!

Every little step counts, and making concrete goals to look forward to is going to set you on the right path. My first goal was to make just $1k per month, and I hit that goal several years ago. You can definitely reach your own if you stick with the training here in WA and apply yourself.

I'm taking it very slow. 1 website, a few posts, and some comments. The community is awesome! I'm just not a hugely active presence right now, but I plan to be more so in the future. I will be staying around for a long time. Thanks for the question..How's yours going?

Fortunately Lisa, there's nobody holding a stopwatch to time your progress; that's completely up to you & your own initiative.

I'm not overly active within the WA community either, but the good thing is that there's no DIRECT correlation between how active you are within this sphere and how much money you make. Actually...

I've been a Wealthy Affiliate member for like 10 years, but I've only become somewhat active within the community over the past few months!

Any questions or concerns? Just about anytime...

I would like to say well done for creating your website I remember doing this process a few years back. Everything to me seemed difficult but ask me now setting up a website has been the best thing I have done. I have now created a number of websites for myself and a few clients. I wish you all the success. Well done,

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Thanks! I've got like 50 that I'm leaning towards, trying to narrow it down. Lol...going to start with dogs. They are my favorite friends, so that will definitely be my starting point. From puppies to seniors, potty training to incontinence, rescues to designer breeds. I love them all!! the outfits, the diet needs, the companionship, licks and tail wags, it's all therapy...and it's all good:)

Perfect! Sounds like dogs are your passion, so that's a perfect place to start.

My advice would be to narrow down to specific thing within the "dog" industry though. Clothing? Food? Training? A specific breed?

Covering EVERYTHING about dogs is probably going to be a little overwhelming, especially since this is your first website.
