Please help. I am totally lost. I am not a good reader because I am dyslexic, and added to that is the fact that I am now 85 years old and partly deaf.

I'll be happy to help :) My dad (passed away from cancer May 2012) was always interested (and calling me!) when he had a problem. You remind me of him, and guess what? I'm deaf too! So I totally get where you are coming from. I'd be happy to Skype with you, but the time diff would have to be worked out. Emails always work too.
We'll get you sorted out, I promise :) It does seem a barrage at first, but it will come to yuor understanding quite fast.

Hi - you may be dyslexic - but you have no problem in eloquently putting across a request for help. I have not been here for long, but I know the community (firstly Poetman) will help when asked. I'm in Scotland - I've only skyped once and it was embarrassing on my part - but if you have any questions or problems, please post them, and I (and many others I'm sure) will do their best to help you.

but never learned what it was.

Hello Gilbert and welcome to WA! We don't normally use Skype but we use "Hangout" from Google and you need to have google account to be able to participate. We can always invite you to join us to meet and chat with other members...Nenita
