I was chatting with Kyle in "Live Chat" this morning about an issue I am having with the visibility of banners. Simply put, I have been having an ongoing issue with not being able to see the WA banner images. This is happening in the banner platform as well as in my website back office when I am using my laptop.

I am quite able to see everything else but not the banner images.

I have no issue seeing them on my tablets whether in the banner platform or in the website back office.

I have been talking back and forth with "Site Support" and they don't seem to think it's an issue at their end.

I'm not sure if it's something I need to look at from this end and even if it was, I wouldn't know where to begin to look.

To say the least, this is becoming quite concerning because I can't really make a decision on what banner I might want to use if I can't see them.

When I chatted with Kyle he said that I should send him a screenshot (which it doesn't possible to do here) of what I was seeing and he would look into it. So, I hope this gets to him

Hi, Marion. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you and thank you for your suggestion.

It was suggested that I do that from "Site Support" Wasn't able to figure it out so, I could use a little help as to how to do that.

I did find a Google setting that said "Ads". It has three choices

Block Default
Block
Allow

"Block Default" was the original setting so I'm presuming that I have to change that to "Allow". Is that correct?

I have changed the setting to "Allow" but it hasn't made any difference. :(

And just so you can see what I am dealing with here is a screen capture.

The banner is supposed to be visible below the "Dimensions" and above the "Direct Link"

Perhaps you could give me a heads up on how I can contact Kyle personally? He wanted me to send him a screenshot. I tried sending him a PM but this is where I ended up???

Hello Marion, and, again thanks for your help.

Thanks for your suggestion. The truth is I have already been into the Chrome Extensions and I actually don't even have the Chrome ad blocker so nothing to shut off.

I am in contact with Kyle so, Perhaps he can help.

Thanks you much again. I appreciate your efforts

From what you are describing it seems to depend on your laptop. Or the visual program itself or maybe the browser? Do you have firewalls that block unknown images?

Don't know. I have Kaspersky antivirus. Might be something there???

Hi, Janet.

I just wanted to let you know that the "Banner" mystery has been solved.

Turns out it was my anti-virus that was blocking the images. After some members, you included, suggested that this may be the problem, I did try to find something to with a blocker of some kind but couldn't find it. I gave up.

Well, today I decided to have one more look and discovered a "settings" icon. Clicked it and you'll never guess what I found.

A BANNER BLOCKER!!! I turned it off and now I see what I'm supposed to see EVERYWHERE.

Thanks for your kind efforts to help. They are greatly appreciated.
