Is pretty link safe for affiliates to use?
I'm using Pretty Link to shorten affiliate links and to make them look great so people won't easily learn it's an affiliate link. You know, there are people out there who are envious of affiliates making money off their purchase that when they see it's an affiliate link they're about to click, they usually back off.
But I noticed that after shortening the affiliate link with Pretty Link and testing it by clicking myself, I noticed you can't hardly notice if your affiliate ID is displayed on the internet browser when the link is opened, or maybe not displaying the affiliate ID at all.
When using Pretty Link to shorten affiliate links, is there a risk that the affiliate ID get scraped and you as an affiliate get bypassed in the transaction eliminating you in the equation and you affiliate not making money?
In the footer section of my site that's visible in my home page and in my blog posts, there's a banner for Divi which I display as an affiliate for Elegant Themes. The affiliate link for Elegant Themes is quite long and looking obvious to visitors that's why I shortened it with Pretty Link. Now, I'm worried I won't get credit for sales generated via that shortened link.
Can I have an assurance it is safe for us, affiliates, to use?
