Why you need to think OUTSIDE of the box!

She called me to help her move the car, and a friend and I went over to her apartment to help her out. At first glance, it looked easy - we only needed to move the car about 10 feet. We would be done in no time!
Well, maybe not...
In spite of the fact that three of us were pushing the car, we could barely make it budge. Turns out, we had to push it UP HILL, and we could get very little traction on the wet snow. Then, a guy who was snow plowing the apartment parking lot came out of his truck to help us. I thought, "now we will move it", but once again, the car would not budge.
Out first attempt at thinking outside of the box failed. Two of us went to the front of the car to push from just inside the doors. It didn't work since traction was still pretty bad, and we weren't getting enough power in that position. Then the snow plow driver had an idea. Instead of trying to push the car UP the hill, how about backing the car up and pushing it DOWN the hill into a different parking spot? Why didn't I think of that!
A few minutes later, and about 100 yards down the hill, we had the car parked in a new spot, where it wasn't sticking out in the road. Thankfully, because we had the help of the snow plow driver, we discovered that we didn't need brawn, we needed to use our BRAINS!
Internet marketing works the same way. Sometimes, to solve a problem, you need to look at it from a different angle. You need to think outside of the box. You will find that sometimes, your first efforts at re-thinking a solution to a problem fail. Don't let that stop you. Re-think your strategy, and you might just discover SUCCESS! Sometimes, the answer isn't as obvious as it seems, but if you do a little bit of brain storming, you might discover the right answer, and the correct course of action to take. If there is one way to some it up, at the end of the day, BE DIFFERENT, and don't be surprised if being different works!
