Weeks 3 and 4: Some ups and downs
I was doing weekly updates. I found them helpful to keep on track.
However, last week--my apartment building received a direct hit from a tormado. (Not the storm in the pic, that's a stock photo lol) Fortunately the family is safe and insurance is helping pick up the pieces. One of my mantras is that "it could always be worse" -- which I mean in a positive way. It means to me that you should look at the positive in any situation because no matter how bad the situation, there is something fortunate to realize. For me the tornado was a set back. For many others it was a tragedy.
I finally got a computer working, internet access, and got a new post up on my website!
Before the tornado, I had a great week. My overall keyword for my website landed on page 2 of google. I know it's not page one yet, but I was please with page 2 on week three. Average post position moved up over 100 places and now I have 2 long form posts trending upwards.
Have a great marketing week, everyone!
