Thank you to everyone that sent me a welcome. Sorry I haven't responded or even followed most people back. As you know, time is of the essence with making the right impression with Google. Once you create a site, you want Google to find the best you it can find.
I won't post a lot but since I'm wrapping up week one and it's been productive, I thought I'd share what I've accomplished (more to help me keep track than anything else).
I hope to have more time to connect as things get settled with the new site.
Done this week:
- purchased domain
- created custom logos for website, socials
- customized theme
- created shell site with disclaimers, TOS, privacy policy, affiliate notice
- added basix GDPR and CCCPA protocols
- created About page
- created branded accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
- posted first post and shared on socials
- Drafted 9 additional posts
- Scheduled next week posts in WP
- Created 1 month post outline and schedule
- Signed up for 2 key affiliate programs
- Re-created 1 website logo due to size on mobile browsers (sometimes you have to take a step backwards)
- Ran complete link and SEO audit
- fixed some issues and made templates to fix in future
