Promoting other programs within Wealthy Affiliiate

As it would happen given the recent to and fro about promoting on one site, I opened an email that contained a blatant breaking of the rules. It was in fact in Polish and I used the translator to understand it. Simply promoting another money making site

So I started to write to this person, who has a free membership, that it was against the rules and they must remove the post or they could lose their writing privileges or even worse and get barred altogether.

Then I stopped and ask myself what authority do I have to this, do I have the right to tell another member what they can or can't do

Here is the question what are my rights to do this if any at all?

Instead of responding to that person, who honestly could care less (and may even be a bot), and instead notify Kyle so he can ban them from the forum.

There will always be these folks in here, who count on selling stuff by having one person out of a thousand buy something from their emails or posts.

I just ignore them. They aren't worthy of your time.

Thanks for bringing this up. Sometimes I have inadvertently broken the rules, but am getting better.

I think you are just informing a colleague of information that you are aware of, which they may be unaware of? We are advised that being aware of the rules is in the interests of many.

I noticed one post today that had links to music on you tube. I clicked the link, the music was amazing! Now, is this a rule breaker - to be honest, I’m not really sure?

My understanding is:

1. Not to direct members to external links
2. Websites and links are located at the right side of a members profile page.

Obviously, there are many rules but these are two simple ones which I can abide by quite easily.

SOLUTION

I feel situations like these should be led from management. Looking at new workable solutions to prevent rules being broken, most likely inadvertently.

There may be an easy fix?

The matter requires some further preventive measures and not reactive action after some breach has taken place.

It's not a matter of having the right to tell them about the rules. It's a matter of helping them so they don't lose their writing access. I'm sure you would appreciate someone letting you know if you were in breach of the rules.

I do understand that, however the to or fro would not have happed if we had someone with the authority to refer these matters
You see a breach, report it and then dealt with by someone they cannot argue with and the bad laundry is not all over WA

Free members can't receive private messages so it's either let them know publicly or send a message to Kyle or Carson. They really do treat spam seriously.
