1. On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King
2. On Writing Well: The Classic Guide to Writing Nonfiction by William Zinsser

Great list! I haven't read any of these books yet, but they look fantastic. I haven't actually read too many books about writing and that is an area that I know I definitely need to improve.
Excellent writing without an audience is not of much help.Imagine a leader who pulls big crowds speaking the same words to an empty room! That's where technical skills like traffic generation come to play. But again, with the traffic, the 'crowd' will pelt stones at you if you're not using the right words. High bounce rate!
