One Month Already.

As you can probably tell from the title, I have now been a Premium member of WA for a month now. I have had my ups and downs like everyone else and I'm continuing on. I have learned a lot, so I paid for another month of Premium and I'm looking forward to learning even more.

My niche is Chicago Cubs Apparel. Obviously, it's a good time to be a Cub fan. Content has been a challenge since I am a man of few words, but I'm getting there. It's hard to believe that I have 21 pages/posts on my site.

Site Comments - Ugh!

What a disaster. I started giving "comments", not realizing that I was actually giving feedback. I had know idea, even though I followed the training step by step and didn't skip anything. Anyway, I had a couple disapproved, as they should've been, did some research on comments, had another disapproved, did some more research, got 4 straight approved and my dismal approval rating was up to 70%. Rock On! I thought I was on the right track. But then I got blocked from Site Comments. I explained the situation to Kyle and he got me cleared. However, I haven't used Site Comments again yet. I'm scared. I have gone to member's sites and left comments though. Site Comments is a great way to pay it forward. Give comments, and then get comments. My apologies to those who got feedback instead of comments from me. Anyway, lesson learned....I think.

I also learned the importance of social media. A great way to get the word out if used wisely. I had a Facebook account but rarely used it. Now I have Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts. Maybe an old dog can learn new tricks. See below if you would like to follow me and I will follow back. Some concerns of mine are Google ranking and getting traffic. My site details show everything at 100% except Site Trust and Site Feedback. I read somewhere within WA that Trust goes up 10% each month and mine just went from 0% to 10%. I haven't attempted Site Feedback yet, so it's still at 0%. I'm a bit nervous after my experience with Site Comments. I have been getting some traffic, very little, but some. When I Google "Chicago Cubs Apparel" I don't see my site (I gave up looking after 12 pages). When I Googled "cubs baseball apparel", my site was on the 4th page. I was very pleased, but of course I want to be in the top spot on the 1st page.

I have a few ideas for my next website but can't decide whether to do my own or do Affiliate Bootcamp. I believe the bootcamp is all about building a website promoting WA?

Anyway, if anyone has any advice or suggestions on improving Google rankings, getting more traffic, doing bootcamp or anything else about my website, I would love to hear them. I could really use some feedback. I can handle the truth no matter how brutal it is.
