Looking a gift horse in the mouth

So we were horsing around with some business ideas, an acquaintance came into some money and wanted advice on how to make it grow,

I told him to plant it, in his backyard, water it, feed it some chicken $#@& and watch it grow, Hahahahahaha, just joking.

I pitched him WA and the online business potential of the internet, with a niche' in travelling as he is well travelled, speaks easily and writes very well.

He was always my goto guy to pen my opinions when I needed it on paper, yet he came up with all the excuses that I ever heard of, as to why it would not work, for him

I just shook my head and put on a silly face, (comes naturally to me)

Upon further discussion he informed, he did not want to work hard at making his money grow, he wanted to invest it and let it grow passively, well it is not that much money to start with.

I proceeded to take him to my computer and physically show him how I am doing with some local affiliate programmes with which I am starting to earn some decent income.

He could not believe that I achieved this in a short 4 months, part time, and how mind boggling the future growth potential is.

Well, he still thought it was too much effort, I wished him well in his endeavours to make a mountain out of his molehill, and proceeded to make us some coffee.

I do not wish it, but I can guarantee that he will regret his decision and I will not be there to rub his nose in it,

But to help him the best that I can, he is an acquaintance after all. He will come around eventually.

So never give up on anyone, they are just hard targets, that know how to,....... you guessed it.
