Did my first video - well third if being honest!
So I'm still struggling with creating content.
It's coming together but still not there yet.
I will get there.
But I know that video will be important for me.
So I had a go.
And so this where I totally embarrass myself!
It's pretty terrible but I know it will get better.
I'd love any criticism - let me have it ... sticks and stones right.

Any feedback would be much appreciated on that too -
even remove immediately before you totally destroy your
reputation (which luckily I still don't have).
Give me the bootcamp treatment - I can handle it.
I hope also by seeing me do this it gives you the courage to have a go too.

Hi Gareth, I'm just about to leave the house but quickly visited your website. I love it. I'm a huge art fan and lose my mind about buying pieces I fall in love with. Love the idea of emailing a painting with a story. It's really great. Stop giving yourself a bashing and give yourself the credit for the wonderful work and progress you've made. I'll hopefully get A chance to view the video and come back to you. Very brave. I'm terrible in front of the camera. I lose all ability to speak sense lol!

Thank you Ruth. I really appreciate your time and your comments. Your comments have encouraged me to keep doing this. Ah, in the video I also slip up once or twice but I'm not going to let that hold me back - I might use cue cards though if I need too. All the very best Gareth.

Just finally got the chance to watch your video. The painting is really beautiful. Like you said - very atmospheric. It's really great to hear directly from an artist about what inspired them and the story behind the piece. Very well done! Honestly!
It would be lovely if someone could help you video you working on a piece and show it develop over a small series. Personally I'd really enjoy that. Keep going!

Hi Ruth. Thanks for the comment. Yes, that's a great idea. Although using another person may not possible just yet I could do something like that by myself using youcam. I will have a go! All the best.
