Theme Header Picture Accomplishment.

One of the frustrations I had with my theme was not understanding how to upload a picture, then change the pixels so it would fit into the allotted space of 1000 X 288 pixels on my site. I figured out how to accomplish this task using an image from www.freeimages.com and the Paint software program on my computer.
I now have the image I wanted showing on my site. If anyone is interested in the steps, please let me know and I will post them.
