Feeling Down

While I’m still pumped about my work and progress, here at WA, I’ve had a rough past few days. Just a combination of different stresses, and a lot going on personally.

I’ll be the first to admit, some days it’s HARD to get any work done or feel accomplished, or even successful in any regard. I have so much on my mind. I have so many responsibilities. I have two active, young boys wearing me ragged. I have a favorite pet sitting client moving away today, and other long-time, regular client who lost her adult daughter earlier this week. She was my age. Thirty-six. She passed away under hospice care due to stage four liver failure... at 36. My husband is going through stuff of his own, and had a panic attack yesterday morning. This morning wasn’t much better.

We rent my brother’s finished basement, but next year he wants to put the house on the market... so we have to move out. I don’t know where we will go. I don’t know what our lives will be like. I don’t know where my husband will find work. I don’t know if I’ll be able to continue pet sitting. So many things racing through my mind, all at once.

In a way, Wealthy Affiliate has been an escape for me. Something to distract me from my current problems, and also to give me hope for the future. It gives me a focus that I know will pay off.

Yes, I said I KNOW it will pay off. You know how I know? How can I be so sure I won’t fail, or that this system just won’t work for me? Success isn't guaranteed. No, it isn’t, it’s earned. Specifically, it’s earned by those who don’t give up. I may want to give up, at times, but I won’t. I won’t because giving up guarantees failure, while determination, conviction, hard work, and dedication guarantee that I CAN’T fail.

Failure is NOT an option. We need this. I need this. What’s more, I don’t just need it, I also WANT it. I will MAKE this work for me. I’ll do it by picking myself back up, when I need to, and persevering. I will learn what I need to learn. I will ask, when I have questions. I will make the time to work on my website, and will do all of this because I know that the determining factor between my failure and success, is ME. You get back what you put into something. You EARN success through hard work. Success doesn’t just fall into your lap.

Yes, there will be difficult days, hard weeks; ups and downs. That’s life. I feel like crap today, but I’m gonna do what I need to do, and hopefully soon, I’ll be feeling better again.

I want you, anyone and everyone reading this right now, to remember what I’ve told you. I want it to inspire you, when you need it most. I want you to “like” it and share it. Not for selfish reasons or personal gain, but rather because by sharing any inspiration, you’re helping others. Not only do I want to be successful, but I want YOU to be successful, as well. Let’s give up, giving up together. Let’s make a pact, from here on out, to never give up on ourselves. I can do this. I WILL do this... and so will you!
