30k and Vegas Invite - 2021 is a Wrap
So looking back on 2021 I have to say I am very thrilled about what I have achieved even though my work ethic was pretty bad for most of the year.
I retired from driving over the road back in Oct. of 2020 thinking with all the extra time I would have on my hands that I would really focus on my business and create tons of content.
Well, that worked for about a month, and then I started making excuses and finding other things to do like Xbox gaming and just other fun stuff. I am lucky that my online business was pretty much on auto-pilot or I could have taken a real big hit on my income.
This image below is right out of my back office here at Wealthy Affiliate. This year was the most money I have ever made in one year online and to be honest, most of this income is from all the things I did years prior.

Hey, Kirk!
A huge congratulations on your hard work and trip to Vegas! I'm excited you earned this. You deserve it!
If I remember last year, you were very close to reaching your mark.
2 Questions if you don't mind sharing:
- do you do MLM reviews?
- how many published articles do you have?
Thank you for sharing your successes here. I remember riding in 18 wheelers with my husband. Great memories!
Have a wonderful day, Kirk!
Regards,
Monica
Hiyas, I do remember you from commenting on my post last year which seems like it was just yesterday.
The majority of my referrals come from using PPC but I do get referrals from organic traffic as well. My site took some hits from the Google updates and my failure to keep posting to my site so I am not getting the traffic that my website used to get.
I think I have around 300 articles on the site with a few MLM reviews but most are reviews of other MMO opportunities.
Hey Kirk,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
The number 300 articles are helpful to know because they can push me to work harder, although I think I need a good strong whip... I have quite a few MLM reviews and have now been back to writing more MMO opportunities.
Ya, that Google can be a 'mean beast' sometimes... I haven't done anything on PPC yet. It takes a bit of investment, right??
I'd like to get to the point of hiring a writer to get things moving faster.
I hope by the end of next year, I'll have 200+ articles published...
Well, I'm really happy you are retired from your long hauls. Don't you miss it?
Have an amazing weekend, Kirk and thank you for answering my questions.
Regards,
Monica
Hi Monica,
Personally, I don't have a problem with MLM, however, the Kajan water plan was a rip off at about $4999 for a water ionizer from where you had to buy one to get the ball rolling for your MLM to work at the top level. The training was £79 a month and that was just to suss out ads and chat on SM.
Not to mention a $7000 investment to join so your first sale counted as a part of your five-star level marketing money-making. future.
I tried it and then dropped to go to the Professional Vagabond community for an online marketing system in SA but the platform dropped out on me many times so I quit. There were too many updates so I felt like a guinea pig. $79 a month too
Ryan from The Professional Vagabond is a delightful chap and I wish him the best. Hope he reads this now I am actually getting referrals and he is proud.
Believe me, I have tried many systems and spent a lot of money but WA nurtures us not to spend too much until we can and I like that it's honest.
BTW: The very first question asked to me before i joined here by Kyle was am I MLM?
In Friendship
