Beware of the DISTRACTIONS
As I'm sitting here writing, I'm finally on a role there's a noise in the other room; mind you, I'm home alone. I go to check it out, nothing! The phone is now ringing, texts messages are coming in and fb is going crazy. Why didn't all of these things happen today when I was sitting doing nothing. I bet if had a dog, he'd be dying to go for a walk right about now too! I'm just saying???
Anybody get interrupted just when you really get into the groove of writing good content.
Now I honestly believe this computer is trying to shut down on its own! For Real?

Distractions, life's way of wanting to know if we're really focused and determined to do something or not . At other times reminding us of the other part of normal life needing attention. My son distracting me at times wanting to talk, yes he needs my time. The dogs putting on the sooky face near dinner time saying "feed me", yip got to feed them too. The other stuff like FB, I can happily leave switched off for days. My "hard not to be distracted time" is after school. It's a bit of a lost cause for me at that time!
OMG, after school demands all of our attention. I like the sooky face at feed me time comment. Yes, we have to remember they need our attention too. A schedule and get organized is what I need to do. Keep it moving!
Funny thing I am distracted all the time too especially in the last 3 weeks with 2 young children, Assessments, the coming holidays,playful Bengal cat trying to get my attention, a dog wanting to go for a walk, phones finally stopped ringing and here I am reading your blog about distractions .lol. So understand where you are coming from. Tried blocking out the distractions but will have to try to continue writing pages of content at a later time tonight. Hopefully, then I can stay focused and just write.
Hopefully you can get it done later. You have a busy life, but work around it. I like the library idea!

Wow, your website is well put together. I am a newbie so might not pick up on any problems but it looks great and has good content from where I am sitting. Can't wait to have mine also up and running if I don't let distractions get to me. lol. Keep up the great work. :)
Distractions are all around us. I know I am always distracted when trying to concentrate writing something. Right now I took the computer into the other room so I don't hear the TV. Sometimes I just need quiet with no one around me. It can be very annoying with all the social stuff going on around us. Guess we just have to do our best to block it out or go along with it for the time being. What do you mean your computer is shutting down?
You're right, I hate loud televisions when I'm writing. I change rooms a lot. A Skype came in that I can't get rid of so I'll shut down for tonight but it's alright, I've saved everything.

It always happens...I wrote a blog about that too "They keep hitting me up"! Everytime, I am doing very little almost nothing happens then WHAM when I get busy...EVERYTHING almost happens at once! whoo...hoo....I'm learning to say NO, talk to you later, and turn things off....if only for one night! GREAT BLOG! KEEP IT UP!
