Well, to follow up on my last blog, I've had the angiogram and as the old saying goes, there's good news and there's bad news. First, the good news! The issue wasn't the heart defect - it hasn't gotten worse and I won't be needing surgery any time soon. The bad news is, there are blockages in the small arteries around my heart that can't be corrected surgically - only by medication. So, 2 new pills a day. I'll be doing mostly resistance exercises, and as my Dr. says, let pain be my guide.
