What is your "WHY" for doing this?
Do you ever ask yourself "WHY" do you want to become successful?
I asked myself this so many times. Then I asked myself "WHY" am I doing what I am doing. Then I asked myself "WHAT" is the purpose for my success?
My Purpose: To use my knowledge, wisdom, and understanding plus success to teach and assist people to raise their Financial IQ and change their current conditions.
My Vision: To assist 1 million people with starting their own business and creating financial, time, and location freedom, while being able to live an adventurous life as an Entrepreneur.
My "WHY" is I got to succeed so I can make a way to show the youth that in this day and time anybody with the right mindset who create the right conditions can become rich or wealthy or both whichever they choose. Which I choose to be both. And this started in my mind first. I am doing this business because it is right in line with what I want to bring to the youth. Educating them about real business education used to build their financial IQ and income with the guidance of real successful people who can guide them to their success because with their success come more success for me. Life is about prosperity and how I'm going to have a lasting effect on the world.

Hi Frankie, my why is more on the selfish side which sounds really bad, so I will explain. My health (heart) is not good, I have 6 blockages and one of those is at 60% and doctors will not till treat it until its at 70. Crazy right. I have had several small strokes, which has made it to where I cant work. I live off of a small disability check and my kids help with everything that I cant afford. So my why is to be able to support myself again and not be a burden financially to my kids. So this is why I'm here at WA is to learn how to make money online and to become financially stable once more in my life. And I will achieve that here at WA.
I know you will because the energy and positive attitudes of the community is here to assist in any way needed. I am sad I am not a doctor who could assist you with your blockages. I understand how serious you condition is and I will keep you in my prayer that the doctor reconsider and that you procedure is successful when it is done. My why for doing this is to share my passion and grow a business in my own time. Still trying to get my head round the enormous opportunity that WA offers and now have a vast amount to learn to achieve success.... which is tied in with helping people. The important things in life money can't buy.

Thanks for this post! My why is to get out of the 9-5 and to be able to get out of debt. I also have a 10 month old son that I want to be able to put in the best schools and to always have money for all of his needs. I know my WHY will get me to where I need to be.

I am old school which is working forty hour weeks and most times overtime to ends meet. I am 53 years old and have tried a many of entrepernuer opportunities none work out then I discovered this website by accident. I only three months into it. Your WHY's will cause us all to reevaluate why we are doing what we do. Young brother you only need 99,999. You got me I appreciate your post.

My WHY, at least right now, is to get out of the 9 to 5 grind. My long-term WHY is to be able to help people find their own way on this journey through life, and not answer to anyone they don't feel like answering to.
Sounds like a great why with this being the new way to create income and jobs being taken over by computers and robots people need to be guided into this way of life. Thanks for the comment Peace

I have to say I love success, and having success is a great feeling it tastes and smells delicious.
I have in total 4 successful Businesses build up, they are still going but for me, they are running well so I like to look for something new a new challenge.
On top I like to retire in 4 years but not doing nothing, I need my challenges.

Before I tell you my "Why" for building a business here at WA, I'd like to ask you a question:
Your purpose is to assist young people build their financial IQ and help them develop the right mindset for building wealth, but what's the Why behind that? What's the purpose behind wealth and financial independence?
I'd like to ask this of everyone else reading this comment too, actually.
I'm not saying you don't have a good reason, Frankie. You have a better reason than anyone could ever have. But what's the bigger purpose? We're all just going to die some day and pass our wealth to some one else, right? And even if you want to help others, those others are just going to die some time too and their knowledge and wealth will be gone too.
What's your GREATEST goal in life, beyond which their is no more explanation or reasons?
Great question and I want to first explain some of my personal life. I come from a family where I had a single mother who was addicted to drugs who could not teach me what I'd needed to become successful. Guess what over 95% of the neighborhood where I was raised are in a perpetual state of the same conditions. The conditions are poor and misguided people trying to figure a way out but they're know direction to which way to go. Financial issues in these communities lead to Morjority of the bad decisions that people make just wanting to get out. Well, I will be the way for my people's and I will and currently doing, raising my peoples spiritual, emotional, financial, and health awareness because I know by me doing this I am creating a better world for all us and they will remember me because I care enough to be there and show them how to create a better life for themselves and their future generations. So even though I will die in the physical someday I will be Remembered and I will live on vicariously through the hearts and minds Of those I Affiliated myself with even you my friend. That's great, Frankie. How I gather it, you want to be remembered as one who helped people get out of poverty and lead a life of greater prosperity and peace. That's a good goal to me. My only problem is just...still...WHY?
Why peace? Prosperity? Happiness? Why do we want these things? Why do these things make us feel good? I'm guessing the answer is, "because they just do. That's the end goal with no more reasons behind it. It's in our nature. There are no more 'why's to ask."
Based on everything I've heard so far, it seems to me that pleasure (such as is derived from peace, prosperity, happiness, etc.) is your end goal, the goal that you want to help all people achieve. Is that true? Is pleasure a good ULTIMATE goal to have?
Sorry if I'm being annoying. I'm trying to flush this out a little more. I have a greater point but I want to get there socratically.
Thoughtful question. Initially it was to supplement my income with a home based business. But it has become so much more. Now the focus is learning all about this technology and sharing it with other people who I know can benefit. Using social networking for good......and for fun. Debbie

I like this question and think it is one everyone here needs to ask themselves regularly...
It can be helpful in so many ways/situations....
(1) When you are questioning yourself.
(2) When others are questioning your action(s).
(3) When procrastination rears its head.
(4) When you need to shut out distractions.
(5) When you are creating your overall strategy.
(6) When you start getting distracted by shiny objects.
(7) When approached by prospects.
(8) When preparing your elevator speech (or landing page).
(9) When creating and following your daily to-do list.
(10) When creating products or services for clients.
(11) When interacting with other authority members of your niche.
I could go on and on, but the thing is that if you understand clearly why you are in the business, you will easier gain clarity with all areas of your business...
It is related to passion in some ways but does not have to be a devotion to the same degree. Sometimes it is just a clear set of reasons or maybe a reason that you are doing what you are doing...
So my 'why'...
I have seen the power of empowering people of different ages in many situations...
People often underestimate themselves, because of what they have been told by others (i.e. "You can't..." "You shouldn't..." "You must not..." Accept your lot in life..." etc')...
I am of the belief that we can change ourself and our situation given the resources and the opportunity...This holds true with 99.9% of people out there...They truly WANT to succeed...
The thing with online marketing is that it is the great equalizer when it comes to opportunity...If you can learn the mechanics of how to get a program together (and most people can), you have a real shot at being successful...
That is a great thing, and most certainly with online marketing, some of the same factors remain with regards to whether or not you will achieve success, such as working with contacts, taking action, acquiring the requisite skill set, and using your ingenuity...
The reality is that making these work habits a part of your life in some situations is not enough...Barriers remain...Not so much with the online world...
People who otherwise may not have a chance to build a business in the offline bricks and mortar world DO have that opportunity in the online world. This means that the door is opened to literally everyone...
This is the biggest "why" is for me...
Helping to open doors and break through barriers for as many people as possible...
Yes, I want to build a business that is making some profits, and I want it to grow and be recognized, i.e. a brand....But at the end of the day, that is a transitory thing...
What REALLY counts?.
How many people's lives have you changed by showing them a way to improve themselves and their lot in life? How can you help more people? What concrete steps do I need to take?
These are the sort of questions I ask myself regularly...While in the military, I made it my mission to help those people that because of the "system" could not rise in the ranks...
As a leader, building opportunities for oppressed people to serve in leadership positions, allowing them to get more education through pushing for programs and funds, providing mentorship, and etc. all made a huge difference in their lives (and in mine)...
There were so many cases I can think of where people achieved more in their life than they ever dreamed of/thought possible...To see:
(1) The light in their eyes,
(2) The improved posture,
(3) The confident way they spoke,
(4) The increase in their responsibility and leadership positions because they deserved these positions (but before could not get because of the "system")
(5) The improvement overall in the way the "system" worked because of these people's input...
All this and more were outcomes of my "why" back then and that same set of outcomes is possible today with online marketing...
So there you have it...My "Why" hehe...
