He didn’t wait.

Not for the right words.

Not for someone to notice.

Not for the perfect moment.

Van Gogh just… did it.

Morning, evening, didn’t matter.

He picked up the brush and moved with what he had.

Was it tidy? No.

Was it understood? Mostly not.

But it was real.

It was honest.

And it was his.

That’s what gets me.

He didn’t hold back, wondering if the world was ready.

He painted what was in him.

When it needed to come out, it came out.

Whether it sold, whether it made sense, whether it landed, he still showed up.

And here I am.

Realising how long I’ve been waiting.

Holding back.

Rehearsing.

Sitting quietly with things I should’ve moved on.

Not anymore.

We don’t get forever.

We don’t get clarity before the starting line.

And no one is going to knock on the door with permission.

So this is me saying, I’m in.

Not perfectly.

Not all polished.

Just in.

Because if we don’t move now, the moment might pass.

And I’ve spent enough time sitting on ideas that should’ve been set free.

This isn’t about chasing brilliance.

It’s about showing up.

Getting into motion.

Letting the mess breathe.

Letting the work speak.

Like he did.

Brush in hand.

No guarantees.

Just movement.
