My First Street Article and Website Is Up!
Hi everyone, my apologies, I was supposed to blog every Monday, but am afraid I am late by a day this week. I had been waiting to see if my first Street Article (which I only submitted yesterday, talk about being last minute!) would be approved, so I could blog about it. And I am very happy to say, “Yes, it is now live on Street Articles!”.
I had wanted to blog about my milestones, albeit small, so as to motivate myself to keep producing something for my blog each week. You may be thinking, it’s just an article, no big deal! Indeed it is no big deal, but for me, it’s a milestone simply because:
(a) Words seem to elude me. It takes me quite a while to come up with an article or a post for my website, which frustrates me quite a bit, as I keep getting ideas on potential niches, but the speed of my writing is not allowing me to start the other websites as yet. I know practice makes perfect, so I will have to work harder at writing, and possibly take up some courses on how to write better!
(b) If you had read my earlier blog post, you would know I am quite a procrastinator. The task of writing an article for Street Articles has been on my “To-do” list for quite a few days, so getting to knock it off my list gives me quite a bit of satisfaction!
(c) The article got approved the first time through, which surprised me considerably! And the moderator was so sweet as to write some very encouraging and motivational comments (A big thanks to the moderator, your comment means a lot to me!)

Congratulations. Great article and very nice website. I am like you when it comes to writing but I am working on it. Being here at WA is really helping me by giving me the encouragement to "just do it".
