I Finally Took the Leap!
Hi everyone! This is my first blog since I joined WA. Been pretty quiet on the blogging scene, as I have been trying to get my website up, hopefully by mid-February 2013! I had read that some members are trying to blog at least once a week, which I felt is a good idea, as it would not only instil discipline in myself, but also keep me continuously engaged with the WA members here.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that I finally took the leap and joined Premium two days back (am afraid procrastination is a big challenge I need to overcome.....see, it took me 2 days to get this blog up!). I just took up the 1 month membership for a start, as I was hoping to generate some $$ before I joined the yearly membership (not the full amount, but at least part of it......hopefully that is achievable?). Much as I love the wealth of information and the amazing community here at WA, I guess I am still a little wary, simply because I had been too trusting with other “make money online” schemes previously.
I am just about to start on the Level 2 certification (see what I mean about procrastination?), which I am sure will be very useful in helping me to create traffic for my website. Will keep you all posted next week, hopefullyJ. In the meantime, wishing each and everyone of you success in your respective online ventures!

Thanks, putipa! I hope you get it soon too! Even on the free starter membership, I believe there are members who make money on their websites. You could do that first and then upgrade to Premium:)
that's my plan. I'm kind of in limbo waiting for some income that is owed to me. So, whichever comes first is definitely getting invested into premium membership.
I may join premium, soon, partially from what fol8 has said here. The other part since this seems to be a place to chat with a community of friends I haven't found. A place to bond together in a common goal sought for our financial betterment. Thanks Wealthy Affiliate. Scotty
Yes, Scotty, WA is indeed a great place to communicate with like-minded friends. I do like the Forum which Premium members get access to, as the Success Stories there can help motivate me when I need the 'lift'!
Congratulations! The first blog post is always the toughest, but you did it! How about a follow up post where you tell us a little more about what your blog is about.

Thank you! Its a pretty short blog, but I just had to get the ball rolling:). Did you mean what my website is about? Its actually about reading with children. Once I get it up, will post it for the members' views and comments, so I can further improve it:)

You go for it, and don't look back! You'll find that level two can fill in, many gaps in your knowledge base and skill sets. I know It was a good investment for me. I am sure you'll feel that same way once, you apply what you learned into you blogs.
