Finally, My First Lens at Squidoo is Published!
At long last, my “postponed for too long” (I was supposed to blog on Monday, but it’s already Thursday!) lens on Squidoo is finally up! I had been dragging my feet, a bit wary of learning something completely new, but to my surprise, it was pretty fun doing up the Squidoo article. But I think I had not been adventurous enough in trying out the many widgets which are available.
I would really appreciate your views on how best I can improve my lens further, is it too monotonous? Do I need to add some vote polls? Is there something else you would like to see in my lens?

Hey Fol8, Your squidoo lens is most educational, certainly for the kiddos benefits if just the parents are in tune to educated themselves first on the importance of the reading topic. What did you mean about the Amazon 8board? Did not notice it's in my banner? Am afraid I don't know about it:( Sorry, still new with Squidoo, need some time to figure it out (do the ads come on automatically in our banners)? .
Hey fol8, So on your lens was a banner from Amazon, I thought it was attached to your len. Before my coffee of course. Not knowing much about the layout of Squido pages, I noticed the 8Board Amazon banner, which is a pet peeve of mine to develop further into a marketable product. Keep up the great work on lens your page is inspiring.

Congratulations, the first time is the hardest one. Now that you have one under your belt, the next will be easier and you can experiment with other features.

I got promoted to "GiantSquid" and "SquidAngel" recently. It just means my likes and blessings are worth more than other squids
Wow, congrats on your promotion! And you sure have many lenses under your belt, good for you! Am I allowed to squid bless your lenses, too?
you can squidlike any lens you want but only angels can bless. I have about 25 lenses yeah, although I have over 50 articles on street articles and more to come!
When you say squidlike, does it mean clicking the Like button on Facebook? Wow, how do you manage to write so many articles? Keep it up, waiting to see more of your articles on SA and Squidoo!
