Working on Moving
Hey, Wealthy Affiliate family! I thought I would drop in and let everyone know how I am doing.
It is Sunday night, 11:00 pm in Savannah, Georgia. I am packing up my things in preparation to move by November 13th. I have no idea of where I am going.
I texted the leasing office on yesterday to see if I could extend my stay for another month, but I was informed that my apartment has already been pre-leased.
After reading the response from the leasing office, I decided to step-up my packing game.
Besides, I have a full work schedule, Thanksgiving and family vacation will be here in approximately 3 weeks...and I still have to find a place to live in less than 2 weeks. Not to mention, I still have to find time to post.
With all this going on, I have plenty to post.
But first, I would like to make this moving process less burdensome, so I came up with this plan: donate, pack, and clean.
For each room, I set aside the items to be donated, pack up the items that I am taking with me to the new place, and immediately cleaned the area(s).
When moving day finally arrives, I don't have to worry about a move out clean.
Now, I just need to find a place.
Sometimes in the most stressful situations is when you write your best.

Savannah, Georgia is so beautiful. We went there back in the 1980s. We were traveling to GA from Maryland because my brother was graduating from army boot camp at Fort Benning. We made a stop in Savannah. Lots of willow trees that I remember. We loved the town and the famous peaches pie. I am so sorry you are going through this but I am confident you will find another place soon. I have faith it will work out. Thanks for sharing.

A nice city there. The home of CNN. We have been there to Atlanta too. I remember the horrible heat. It was dang hot there. Hotter than Maryland and DC. Best wishes to you with the move and finding a new home in the city.

Hi FMWilliams, I don't know if I should congratulate you on your move or what but I think that congratulations is in order though. And you will find a another place no worries it will happen when you are not even looking.
I know how this feels moving. It is very stressful especially when you are doing it yourself. It was for us we had a place and it fell through so we have moved into a hotel for now. There is more to the story but that is for another day though.
I wish you only the best and keep notes for your blog because like you said you are going to have a lot to blog about.

This is the week- count down will officially start Monday morning. Getting a hotel is our plan B. 🙌
Hi Faye, Yes I know that feeling that is where we are right now. Is extended stay it helps because we have a kitchenette so that I can at least cook and not have to worry about no being able to eat.
If you have an Extended Stay in your area I would recommend it highly even though it maybe temporary you don't know how long it is before you can get a place.
We been here for year and three months. And we can have our dogs with us so that is another benefit to it too. And we have a roof and four walls. Trust me we are blessed in more ways than one and it is helping us to appreciate what we have.
