Encouraging Others

When you’re in pain or going through some personal drama, who’s the person you’re thinking of the most? Yourself! It’s everyone's nature to be self-centered—because you’re human.

Very few things are easy. Twists and turns, unforeseen hurdles, etc. Most everything we set out to do can, and most likely will be stymied by challenges big and small. And It’s hard sometimes to get moving again from a standstill.

When you’re suffering - aggravated, annoyed, sick, etc., you want to be comforted. You want to be cared for.

When you can see the hurt of others, it empowers you to make an authentic connection to help them overcome their suffering, and in return, it helps you.

You should look around and see who else is in pain or suffering emotional anguish. You should offer a word of encouragement just because. You should think of others, even as you care for yourself.

I know; that’s a hard one. How do you look at the pain of others when you’re in pain?

It is invigorating. It’s so wholesome; so positive. I mean, think about how good it feels to encourage someone to do something. We all have experienced this feeling at some point in our lives.

I challenge you to make an authentic connection to help someone overcome their obstacle.

Hi Faye, I enjoyed reading your post I just hope and pray that people would read this and make a connection where needed. Because everyone needs help sometime I know how that feels like and still do.

I hope that society would gain some compassion towards our fellow man. We are suppose to be helping each other and we are not doing that at all. It is sad that no one want to get involved.

Very well said, Faye! Unfortunately, everyone is hurting right now in some way shape or form, and that is the main problem!

The status of the world we live in today is the culprit! We simply have to maintain our faith and live one day at a time!
