Get Wisdom
What is wisdom anyway? Does that just mean that someone is smarter than I am? Oh well I’m not at all surprised by that either but what I do know is when you surround yourself with people who are smarter than you are it starts to rub off on you and you get to take some of it home.
To my understanding wisdom is the ability to apply the knowledge that you have gained to achieve a goal. Knowledge alone is not enough just knowing something does not get the job done it just makes you feel proud and puffed up like you are better than others when in all reality we are all made from the same material the earth. I think that is 10 percent dirt and 90 percent water but don’t quote me on it.
There was a man by the name of Joseph who had dreams of being a great man one day (wisdom can come in many forms including dreams). He made the mistake of telling his brothers the dream of them bowing down at his feet. Joseph brothers sold him to slavery and Joseph ended up in prison falsely accused but one day after a long amount of waiting Joseph became second in charge to the king. There was a famine in the land and Joseph brothers had to come before the king for food but they didn’t recognize Joseph for he had changed over the years. All of his brothers did bow down before Joseph just as he had dreamed.
The moral of the story is if you have a dream you may have to go through some trying times to see it come to pass. Get wisdom and hold on to it no matter how long it takes keep applying what you learn and your dreams to can come to pass if you don’t give up.

Hey Flywood, you said that Joesph made the "mistake" of telling his brothers the dream he had had. If I recall, at the end of this story, Joesph forgives his brothers and informs them that what had happened to him in Egypt was nothing less than the plan of God (not a mistake).
All that Joesph did and became was a direct result of the wisdom that he had gained that taught him...that if he lived uprightly before God and followed the ways of God, that great things would happen in his life. He definitely had events and things happen to him that would crush most of us, but he never forsook the wisdom that he had obtained and in the end, he came out on top!
Same thing with this business, if we apply ourselves to the learning process, then apply that knowledge to our actions, we may run into hurdles and have bad times. But if we persevere and hold to what we learn, then we will ultimately come out on top as successful. Thanks for a very thought provoking post.

Very good blog. The contents alone already goes some way to give insight into what wisdom is. When you have a dream and tell others, the majority will tell you it can't be done because they do not want you to become different from what they are. Conformism. As you said, ignore that and don't give up! Blessings!
Agree with your message. One of the sayings on this theme that I really like is as follows: knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it into a fruit salad. I think this relates to your message very well. We are indeed in a terrific environment here at WA which enables us to use our knowledge gained wisely,
