The more I learn and do the more I seem to accomplish but when I just learn and do nothing I get no results which comes to no surprise. I can see already that by following others here at WA and they are following me that I gain a great amount of knowledge from everyone. How do I do that well one way is to ready what they post and comment with what you think. Another thing I have found out is that when I run into a problem like the three little pigs did with the big bad wolf I can ask for help and it’s not long until help has arrived in some form.
What is wisdom anyway? Does that just mean that someone is smarter than I am? Oh well I’m not at all surprised by that either but what I do know is when you surround yourself with people who are smarter than you are it starts to rub off on you and you get to take some of it home.
To my understanding wisdom is the ability to apply the knowledge that you have gained to achieve a goal. Knowledge alone is not enough just knowing something does not get the job done it just makes you feel proud and puffed up like you are better than others when in all reality we are all made from the same material the earth. I think that is 10 percent dirt and 90 percent water but don’t quote me on it.
There was a man by the name of Joseph who had dreams of being a great man one day (wisdom can come in many forms including dreams). He made the mistake of telling his brothers the dream of them bowing down at his feet. Joseph brothers sold him to slavery and Joseph ended up in prison falsely accused but one day after a long amount of waiting Joseph became second in charge to the king. There was a famine in the land and Joseph brothers had to come before the king for food but they didn’t recognize Joseph for he had changed over the years. All of his brothers did bow down before Joseph just as he had dreamed.
The moral of the story is if you have a dream you may have to go through some trying times to see it come to pass. Get wisdom and hold on to it no matter how long it takes keep applying what you learn and your dreams to can come to pass if you don’t give up.
