Need help! My post turns into a video!
Hi everyone! I apologized if I disturbed you on your weekend holiday, but I need some help or inputs on this situation. My written post turns into a video!
That's right! The article that I write few months ago that hold on the first page and position 1 of google, bing and yahoo was copied and turns into a video.
The video is spoken word by word as I have written in the post he or she just changed the tittle and every word are the same. It is professionally made with graphics and photos. The video is recently published and I've seen it also in the first page of google, below the original copy of the post that I write, the about me, and the video consecutively.
I'm not sure if I am allowed to put the link of the post that I have written but I need some help and clarification for I am not a tech-savvy though and have no idea of what to do.

Despicable! I just viewed the video and it has more than 8k followers are the rest of the links below the video your blog posts also? I suggest reporting it. I have spammers using my posts also to try and rank. Here is my question just over an hour ago Should I be worried about other sites using my website name?
They have obviously just used your blog post to create a video i would report it to youtube.
Not sure what else you can do?

I have submitted the complaint and as of now YouTube is taking their appropriate action pertaining to this issue, I supposed.

Hi Lyn
You could write to them and ask them to give you the attribution or to take it down. Also, maybe report them to YT but not sure if that will have any results - mabye other, more experienced WA members here can offer their wisdom on that one.
Also, you can protect your content on your blog with a plugin, so that it can't be copied.

As most of all the concern of WA members. I preferred to ask YouTube to take it down the video. and I hope they are taking action as of now.

Hi Flowerlyn. This sought of thing unfortuatly does happen alot in this industry.
What you can do is click on the 3 dots at the botton left of the video and report it to youtube, follow the prompts and explain to them....
I had a guy upload a review video I did to his own channel..
Youtube deleted the channel.....
Thats really all you can do as far as I know, without getting a coptwright lawyer invovled.

Wow, that's cheeky isn't it?! The video has been made by something/someone called Tips Share. I'd start by investigating who that is. Wouldn't be so bad if they linked it back to your site but it doesn't appear to credit you in any way!
Up to you to decide if it benefits your site or if you want YouTube to take it down. I'll be following this with interest.

Yes, the video is very professionally made, as you said if they linked it back to my site that would be nice but it is not. I'm making my mind and I'm just waiting for some time to ask YouTube to take it down.

This is a very good idea, returning the situation. You could offer them to add it to their playlist (and not channel) and to add your site on it.
