New YouTube channels can use thumbnails right away

There is a way to set up a cover photo on your YouTube channel videos. They are called thumbnails, when you click on adding one, it tells you that there is a requirement to reach before you have that privilege.

However, that is not really the case, you do not have to reach 1,000 views or 4,000 watch hours on your new channel to set up a thumbnail.

There is a way to start using thumbnails right away. Simply verify your YouTube channel, which means you go to the link I will share. The link will ask you to verify your account by receiving a text or a call to your phone. You will plug in the numbers you receive on the verification page.

I was inspired to start a YouTube channel by being in this platform. I thank Marc Demers (Rank 98 on WA) for writing about his struggles to be a self starter. Reading about someone who had the same problem I did inspired me, to take a step to take action instead of only researching about something I dream of doing.

I had researched about making a website for about two years before I took the step to start. I usually read books about anything I am going to do, in order to feel prepared. It was really fear that was holding me back, fear of failure. Sometimes, we are not even aware of what is stopping us. If we dig in and understand what is our motive to keep us paralyzed then we can conquer it. We can conquer it by growing confidence and not focusing on our fear anymore. Soon, fear becomes a blurry memory that happened long ago.

When I conquered my fears, reading The Motivational Manifesto by Brendon Burchard. I was able to start writing a blog on my own website. I began, with the knowledge I had, even though it was not much. Then the pieces started to come together once I joined Wealthy Affiliate. The point is, to begin and then what you need to know will be made known to you during your journey.

I have learned that no matter how much you research about any topic you may never feel fully prepared. Having the thought that you have to know everything about a topic before you start a project can affect your ability to achieve anything.

Taking a step, taking action towards your goals is what will help you achieve your dreams. Take action and the information you need to improve will come along. Starting is what really matters.
