My Ranking Took A Dive
So I saw a few posts about the ranking system changing again and overnight my ranking went from 1900 to 9700.
I guess I just need to not worry about it because I'm on here everyday working on getting through the training and reading and liking posts but I guess that's not enough to obtain a higher rank.
So for now I am going to ignore the ranking system and just get my website done and finish the training.

Pam, that's definitely the right decision. The ranking system doesn't help us to earn. Concentration on building a profitable website is what you will benefit from.
The ranking system is a great tool to increase community interaction,but it can take up valuable time. I am sure that the huge drop in our rank will correct itself. From time to time that happens. Keep on enjoying the community.
Once I get through the training and have a better understanding of all the elements then I will worry about the rank, I do love this community the support is fantastic
I would not worry about it as they just tweaked the system. Just keep doing what you are doing and as you learn, interact and help where you are able you will be just fine. Rankings always go up and down anyway. You can make money with your web site just the same no matter where you are ranked
Thank you, I am just going to keep plugging along through the training, hopefully the rank will work itself out eventually
Yes, just read Kyle's post in regards to the updated algorithm. All makes sense. Was wondering this myself as one day I was at 7000 and now at 1470, realizing the 3 continuous days I was in training, each day thereafter the rank improved.

That seems the best plan. I saw another post Kyle responded to, that the WA ranking system just got updated to be more accurate. I have been her a month and a half and yesterday I was ranked 211, today down to 1095- frankly that makes much more sense to me, being a newbie.
