I understand that google likes comments.

First of all, I want to thank you all for the much needed help that I've received here.

I love this place!

I have only two issues left to be solved.

1) At Yoast, I have a green light in every area but one. It says, "A meta description has been specified, but it does not contain the focus keyword."

Being the newbie that I am, I thought that my "Headline" was the "Meta description". Apparently not because my headline is the focus keyword.

My question is, How can I get a green light on that?

2) I understand that google likes comments. They are good for your rankings.

This my most important question.

Where is the best place here at Wealthy Affiliate to ask for volunteers from my followers for some love in the form of a comment on my website while returning the favor back to them, without being considered a spam artist?

I like it here way to much to jeopardize my membership.

I read in an earlier blog about the same subject, where it was advised to do that on your profile page in the comments section at the top of the page.

So now I'm confused because I don't have a comments section at the top of my profile page.

I have one at the bottom though but, nobody gets notified when I update my comments there.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Forrest

Hi Forrest.
1) Meta description box is in the Editor, below the box for Title, this is SEO part.

2) There is SiteComments thread. Go to SiteRubix button and you will see it there. You give 2 comments on posts that are available and then get credits to submit 1 post of your own to get one comment.

Thanks! That answered my question.

Also, I was just advised by Kyle to switch to "All in one" SEO, plugin and save myself a lot of grief.

I would follow Kyle's suggestion. The point is Google does not respect meta description, they show different things to different people, dependent on search history. I blogged about it recently, can see in my blogs.
