What I have accomplished in two weeks and how I feel

Why do I feel good?

Right before Christmas I stumbled upon Wealthy Affiliate. I can't even really remember how. But I just know when I realized that I actually found something real I could do from home to make some extra income, I was so excited!

I created my account and immediately starting watching the lessons. After watching the first lesson, I decided that I KNEW this was something I could do so before even the end of the second day, I upgraded to Premium. I did not want to lose the added value of the live chat and I also wanted all the other courses to learn as much as I could!

I already knew what I wanted my niche to be and that is cross stitching. I have been admin of a Facebook group of over 4800 members for almost 4 years and I have done a lot of things for this group and already established a solid following of people that trust me. I did this because I LOVED doing it.

SOMETHING AMAZING HAPPENED!

I continued viewing the training videos and within about 3 days of finding WA, I had my website up and running. I already had an audience to view it for feedback with my Facebook group so I sent out the link in my group and asked my members to take a look and give me their feedback. The feedback was very positive and that made me even more excited!

So now after 2 weeks at WA, I feel I have accomplished so much and my site is growing and so is the traffic. I wrote my first feature article on one of my group members that has put together a charity cross stitch project for the victims of the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting. My reasons for writing this article were for 2 purposes.

First, to make people aware of this awesome project and give it exposure so more people might join and help this member in his vision. My second reason was to gain more exposure for my site. Ready for this? In just 2 days, this feature story got 1080 views!!!

It took me a couple days to put this together, but you know what? I had FUN doing it and so many are enjoying reading it. I have always enjoyed writing from an early age. When I was about 8 or so, I was writing my own fairy tales. In junior high school, I took a creative writing class and I really enjoyed it! Why I never thought about doing a blog until now is beyond me!

I hope that I have been able to inspire anyone that is new like me and that may be overwhelmed. I am still feeling a bit overwhelmed myself as I still have SO much I want to learn. But the AMAZING support and help that I have given here by other WA members is just phenomenal and I look forward to sharing this opportunities with many others and help them as you all have helped me!

My journey began here 2 weeks ago and I look forward to the many more steps I will take with WA!
