I'm selling online courses through OptimisePress and my website is not sending emails when I test the purchase. OptimisePress says that it is a hosting issue. One thing they suggest is to make sure that the OP product "from email" matches my domains admin email in my wordpress settings.

Question - But I forget, what type of email do I use as the admin email on my websites? Can I use the @domainname.com email address for it or do I have to use an email that is not the same as the domain name?

To confuse the issue, I have all of my WA domain emails forwarded to my gmail account which is also set up to send as my business domain name. For example, my private "tlmartintraining@gmail.com" is masked and sends as "tammy@leapintoyoufitness.com".
I'm grateful for any help.
Thank you

Hi an address you can create to go with your domain name.

i.e. "tammy @ leapintoyoufitness . com".

However, you may use a Gmail too if you like.

Hi AbieAJ,
So the admin email entered in the wordpress dashboard general settings can be the same domain?

Yes it can, you may want to add additional users in the future, that could John, Ronald, Sylvia etc with the domain name.

You can create a webmail or forward to mailbox and can log in individually provided they have the credentials.

As for privacy policy I would definitely use one that goes with my domain.
