Closing The Year 2015 with Awesome News
Well, this is a quick blog because at this moment, it's already new year in Indonesia and I really want to go to sleep :)
About an hour before I throw the 2015 calendar and replace it with the 2016 calendar, an email come to my inbox.
It was from Amazon confirming my site has been approved, and I made my first sale!
It's less than a buck because I sell some inspiring books as their affiliate :) My niche is in self-improvement, and books are one product that I can sell to my visitor.
However, it's not the amount that make me happy. It's the proof that all training (both from WA or from other members) really works! If you haven't got your first sale, trust me it works eventually, even if you are not in the promoting WA niche :)
Just keep going with your training and follow all the ambassadors. Some WA members really like to create useful training here.
This is really a good news to close the year 2015, and I will work harder and smarter to achieve my new year resolution for 2016.

May I ask how long did you start your site, or when did you post your affiliate products, before you saw this first sale? (I know conditions and variables for everyone's first sale is different, but I just wanted to find out your personal experience, if you don't mind sharing) :)

I've started my website since 3 months ago. I didn't post my affiliate products as soon as I launched my website, because I want to drive traffic first to my website. Also, I keep advertising as minimum as I can, because people hate ads.

I try to balance post containing affiliate products and post with pure information. Some of the 'pure' type contain link to other post with affiliate products.
Also, I see more clicks to Amazon after I changed most of my product images to be clickable and linked to the Amazon.

Congrats my friend. I haven't been around the community much as I want to focus on my site mainly, as you can see I am no longer an Ambassador.

Thanks Anthony :) That's OK. I even choose to let my second website for a temporary hiatus to focus more on the first website.
Sometimes we need to let go other aspect in order to make our focused aspect better. Once it is done, I will focus again on the second website and I have a good plan to launch a game website too :)
