Airbnb had made it possible to generate thousands of new dollars a month simply by renting that unused space in your own home. And you can have them check out by law enforcement before you rent. You can easily become a landlord without a long-term commitment of signing the tenants. And, you are going to love this, in most cities in the U.S., you are legally allowed to rent to someone your home for 14 days or less, without you paying a red penny for taxes.

Airbnb is a very wildly successful business that offers us all, that do own property a great way to earn thousands of extra dollars a month that could very well cover the cost of a mortgage.
